An unsuspecting, newly single-and-loving it, girl.
Who was going along her merry way, while finishing up her last semester at college when, one night while out with a group of girlfriends she happened to stumble upon a boy.
This boy wasn't like the other boys she had met. He entertained her with his funny expressions and captivated her with his mesmerizing dimples. She knew she had to know more about this boy, yet she wasn't quite ready for another boyfriend, having just gotten out of a pretty serious four year relationship. Nevertheless, she gave this boy a chance.
After the exchanging of numbers and AOL screen names, and many late night into early morning chats, they went on their first date: lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. The day of the first date fell on the day of a wedding for one of the girl's friends, so she showed up to the date dressed to kill. The boy had on shorts and a t-shirt with a ball cap and felt embarrassed. The girl interrogated the boy, what were his goals? What religion was he? What did he enjoy in life? The boy felt as if he was in the hot seat.
The girl liked what she had to hear so far. Date 1 turned in to date 2...
and three...
and four!
The boy loved to travel and the girl was scared of EVERYTHING, including flying. The boy decided that he and the girl should take a trip to California. They packed their suitcases and were off!
They enjoyed California and their first trip together as a couple went well. They liked California so much, that they decided they would move there together as soon as the girl would graduate from college.
Months passed and the two got closer and closer. The girl graduated, and three days later the girl and the boy packed up their belongings with the help of their family members. They were off!
They experienced many things while living in San Diego, California.
They lived together for the first time, in a tiny condo by the ocean...
They went biking through the mountains...
They visited California Wine Country...
They spend A LOT of time at the beach...
...and they even bought their first pet, a cute little puppy named Oscar!
They went to football games, to Hollywood, to concerts and beautiful restaurants by the ocean and experienced the city's amazing nightlife.
But, after several years of living this way, they realized that something was still missing...

Their FAMILY.
And so, they said their final goodbyes to San Diego.
They moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. After several months of living there the boy asked the girl's father for permission to marry his daughter, and on a chilly day in December, the boy got down on one knee in the snow.
She said yes!
They were on cloud 9 and so in love!
The boy and the girl said their vows before God, and promised to love each other forever, no matter what.
They celebrated their marriage with a tropical honeymoon.
The boy and the girl bought a house [with the street address 2420, hence the name of this site]. They made their house in to a home where they live happily to this very day.
